ABOUT NADIA J

From the moment I started teaching my first art class, I have felt like it has been part of my life’s purpose to share my love and passion for the creative path with others. In my art classes, students are encouraged to express themselves with selected materials, rather than simply make a project that ends when the class ends.

​​I work one-on-one with my students, and I strongly believe in an interdisciplinary approach where the learning doesn’t stop when class stops. I work with diligence and sensitively to create a safe and nurturing environment so that each student can feel valued and encouraged to share their thoughts and expressions.

With the creative process I employ, as well as the encouragement for constant exploration, I aim to help improve students critical thinking, research, and problem-solving skills, as well as open up awareness and encouragement to view life from different perspectives.
